1. Which costs will I have to start new Exchange hosting service?

   The costs for Exchange hosting will consist of these parts:

   1.       You will need to become MS SPLA provider and pay for Reseller licenses to Microsoft. For more details please see this post.

   2.       Licenses/support services costs from control panel vendor. Click here to get a quote for DotNetPanel Enterprise solution.

   3.       Hardware costs from hardware vendor or datacenter.

   4.       Other costs (support staff, etc).

    

   Then you will need to estimate your sales and understand that Exchange hosting is going to bring additional source of revenue to your business!

    

2. What number of servers is required to implement DNP Exchange 2007?

   You can implement DNP Exchange 2007 Enterprise Module even with only one server, although this may not be the most effective and secure solution. The other good news is that DNP scalability allows to easily upgrade your network configuration as your business grows.

3. After we choose and setup a configuration for Exchange 2007, is there a way to upgrade it as we scale our business?

   Sure, you can freely upgrade your configuration in the future. We have proven migration scenarios and can help you with it.

4. Is it possible to set up a DNP Exchange 2007 server in an Exchange 2003 organization that was using MPS for provisioning?

   Exchange 2007 can be deployed in Exchange 2003 HMC environment. After successful DNP/Exchange 2007 deployment they can live together with HMC 3.5/Exchange 2003. For this situation we have tested way to migrate users to Exchange 2007 and make them visible and manageable by DNP. This can be done one at a time, organization-by-organization.

5. We are providing hosted exchange with DNP solution and want to provide hosted SharePoint and CRM. What do we need to do?

   First of all we need the updated environment diagram to prepare a detailed quote.

6. Could you help us with HMC 4.0 setup?

   Unfortunately we cannot help with it as DotNetPanel uses its own provisioning engine, which is NOT based on HMC/MPS. Please read this article to learn more about DotNetPanel Exchange 2007 Solution.

7. Is your solution a service in which we have all of our customers connected to exchange servers hosted by you, or is it on-premises solution?

   We are not hosting providers, but we offer DNP Hosted Exchange 2007 Solution to be deployed on your servers to manage Exchange 2007 and provide Hosted Exchange services for your customers.
    

8. After purchasing the license by monthly installment, can it be upgraded to lifetime license?

   Yes, you can switch to lifetime licenses at any time, but you will need to pay the full license cost then.

9. Can we get trial licenses for Exchange 2007?

   The first steps are analyzing your environment and preparing a quote. After that we may issue you trial licenses so that you can test the product before purchase.
