"When I decided to make a substantial investment to upgrade and enhance my existing hosting infrastructure one of the key features I highlighted for development, aside from new physical servers and colocation facilities, was my existing control panel system. I investigated a number of different control panel solutions - from the largest and best known systems such as cPanel, Helm & Plesk to a number of smaller lesser known options. I shortlisted a small handful of solutions and setup test VM environments. I tested each solution based on features, speed, compatibility with my environment / requirements, ease of use and quality of support during testing. Within reason, price was not a factor in my decision. In the end, DotNetPanel was the clear winner throughout my tests. The features list is impressive and far ahead of most of its competition. I had decided on DotNetPanel long before I investigated the cost of the solutions, and in this department I was in for one final impressive surprise; the DotNetPanel system is incredibly good value at a fraction of the cost of most of the competition. "Even as a small start up company, you want to use a stable product for your provisioning system. The next important issue is the pricing of the product. And I have not seen any product, where you get so much value for the money you pay.
But.. what is much more import. The DNP support is awesome. The response time is wonderful :)
When programming a software like DNP, which has to run so many different server installations and configurations, it is very hard to cover each configuration possible. The programming team does a great job. The update from 1.0 to 1.5 enhances DotNetPanel on each and every side.
I am looking forward to see DotNetPanel developing and I am happy to be part of it."

"I have been using DNP for about 4 months now and following are the reasons why I think you guys are doing a great job:

  • Usability/Flexibility: After a small learning curve, I now find the panel easy to use, the whole setup seems to make sense and almost every commonly used option is just a few clicks away. On top of that you can easily customize and localize the front end as it is actually running on the standard DotNetNuke framework.
  • Support: DNP developers give great (free) and quick support. If they can't help you on the forums or by mail they will fix the issues you have on your server themselves.
  • Features: Since the update to version 1.5, DNP has become a mature panel which can easily compete with any Windows panel on the market. Most commonly used service providers are supported, and new ones can be implemented on request.
  • Stability: Although DNP is still a young product, it find it extremely stable. I have come across a few bugs when using the panel, but fixes were provided very quickly every time.
  • Price: Compared to other panels and given that all core features are included in the license, I think this is the best bang for the buck you can get.
  • Customer minded - Rapid development: This is what I appreciate the most, the DNP guys really listen to the customers what functionality they require and what they would like to see different in the panel. Clear roadmaps are published and updates are delivered within the estimated schedule."

Although not all possible scenarios are covered yet, most are added to the TODO list when brought to the attention of DNP staff and if they make sense. The response from DNP staff has been above any expectations.

...If you've never used DNP, you need to something fierce.  Since I came from the net admin side, I want everything even if I don't need it (because hey, I might ...someday)... Yes, it's that good and better...No, I don't own any type of share of DNP, nor do I know anyone that works there, nor getting anything for free from them (unless they'd like to!) -- I just happen to like stuff that works the way it should.
